Trial limits: 5 viewers, 48 hours, and what happens after

What the free trial caps, how the clock works, the grace period and how to keep your event by upgrading.

Trial 3 min read Updated September 2026

The trial is the full product with two limits and a clock. Here is exactly what they mean, so nothing surprises you in front of an audience.

1The viewer cap

Five people at a time can have the widget open. The sixth sees a short notice and can try again when someone leaves. That is enough to test with colleagues; it is not enough for a real audience, which is what the paid plans are for.

2The 48-hour clock

The trial starts when you request it, not when you create the event. The banner at the top of every page shows the state, and My events shows the hours left. When it runs out, the widget shows an unavailable page and the dashboard stays open for you.

3The 7-day grace period

After the 48 hours you can still log in for seven days to upgrade. Then the account, the event and its data are removed. We send a reminder before that happens.

4Keep your event

Buy any plan while the trial or the grace period runs and choose the trial event on My events. It moves onto the paid licence with every question, poll and setting, the cap goes away, and the event keeps its widget link.
