Create your first event
Name the event, choose the licence that powers it and pick the days it runs.
An event is the thing your audience joins: one widget link, one QR code, one dashboard. Creating it takes about a minute. The only decision that matters is the dates, because a licence covers a set number of consecutive days.
1Open Create event
Go to My events and click Create event. On a fresh account the button sits in the middle of the page; once you have events it moves to the top right.
2Name the event
Type the name the way your audience will see it. It shows at the top of the widget, on the QR page and on the ended page after the last day. Something like Spring Product Launch works better than an internal code.
3Choose the licence
Each licence powers exactly one event. The list shows every licence you have not used yet, named after its plan. On a trial there is one entry, Trial, and it is already selected.
4Pick the days
Choose the first and the last day. The end picker only offers days inside your plan's cap: 2 consecutive days on Basic, 3 on Extended, 5 on Pro (the trial gets 5). A one-day event has the same start and end.
The audience side closes by itself at 06:00 UTC the morning after your last day, so pick the last day generously if you expect questions after the session.
5Create it
Click Create event. You land on the dashboard with the widget link, the QR code and the embed code ready in the Share with your audience card. Q&A is open from the first second.
Next: share the widget or take a tour of the dashboard.
