The event dashboard, explained
A map of the dashboard: the header switches, the Questions and Polls cards, the settings rail and the menu.
The dashboard is where you run the event. It is built around the live work: questions in the middle, the switches that change what the audience sees at the top, and everything you set up once in a rail on the right.
1The header
The event name, its plan and status, and the live counters: questions, poll votes and crew online. On the right, the two switches that matter most during a session, then the shortcuts.
- Q&A open lets the audience ask. Off means the widget shows a closed notice.
- Moderation holds every new question for your approval.
- Open widget shows you what the audience sees. Analytics opens the numbers (Extended and Pro).
2The Questions card
Every question, newest first or most upvoted. The Live tab is what the audience sees, Answered holds the ones you replied to, Hidden the ones you took off the widget. When moderation is on, a Waiting for approval stack appears at the top.
3The Polls card
Create polls ahead of time and activate one when the moment comes. Only one poll is live at a time; its votes update in place. On Basic the card shows what polls do and how to unlock them.
4The rail
Everything you set up once: Share (link, QR, embed), Branding (Pro), Widget (what the widget shows), Crew (moderators and streamers) and Surveys (Pro). Choose Edit layout in the menu to drag the cards into your own order.
5The menu
The three dots in the header hold the rest: Edit layout, Stream settings (Pro), Event dates, Close event now and Delete.
Next: manage questions or switch moderation on.
