Open and close Q&A, and what the audience sees

Pause questions between sessions without closing the event, and see exactly what the widget shows.

Between sessions, during a break, or once the last question has been taken, you can stop the audience from asking without touching anything else. The list stays, the polls stay, and one click opens Q&A again.

1The Q&A open switch

It sits first in the dashboard header. On means the widget shows the question form. Off replaces the form with a short notice.

The switch reads the way it works: on is open.

2What the widget shows

When Q&A is closed, the audience still sees every approved question and reply, and can still upvote. Only the form is gone, replaced by a note that questions are closed for now.

The dashboard mirrors the state so the whole crew can see it.

3Reopen

Flip the switch back. The form returns on every open widget without a reload.

4Closing for good

You do not need to close Q&A at the end of the event. The audience side closes by itself the morning after your last day and the widget turns into the ended page. See what happens when your event ends.
