Moderate questions before the audience sees them

Switch moderation on, approve or decline from the waiting stack, and know what moderators and the audience see.

Moderation puts you between the audience and the screen. With it on, a new question is visible only to the person who asked it until someone on your side approves it. It takes one switch, and it flips live.

1Switch moderation on

Click Moderation in the dashboard header. The Questions card gets an amber ring and a chip that says moderation is on. Every question sent from now on waits for approval.

2Watch the waiting stack

Pending questions appear at the top of the Questions card under Waiting for approval, with a count. They are not on the widget yet.

3Approve or decline

Approve sends the question to the widget and into the live list. Decline removes it quietly. Both are one click on the row. A small chip on the row records the decision, and you can flip it if you change your mind.

4What the audience sees

The person who asked sees their own question marked as waiting. Nobody else sees it until it is approved. Declined questions disappear from the asker's view as well.

5Switch it off

Turn the switch off and new questions go straight to the widget again. Anything still waiting stays in the stack until you decide, so nothing slips through when you relax the rules mid-session.

Next: invite moderators.
